Message from the Artistic Director
My experience
has taken me from New York and Broadway to Hollywood, but
I have always been committed to the community I'm from. Town
Hall Theatre has hired me to establish a new artistic vision
and to lead it into the future. We got off to a rousing start
with our 2006-07 season. We are very excited about our 2007-08
season.
Town Hall has positioned itself to begin a new era in presentations, both
theatrical and educational. This new era will be defined by an even stronger
commitment to you, our audience. The productions we've picked are meant to be
viewed in the context of the season, much like an exhibit at a museum. I
encourage everyone to sign up for the entire season. However, if you would like
to dip into a few shows, we offer a Flex Pass, where you can purchase four
coupons good for four tickets to any show this season (four different shows for
one person, or two different shows for two people, or however you choose to do
it). We believe that once you try a sampling of Town Hall Theatre shows, you
will want to return. Call our box office (925-283-1557) for information on
this.
In addition to putting on great plays and musicals, we are committed to bringing
in the best talent from the Bay and beyond and giving you bright opportunities
to see and share with them. We offer a Senior Subscription, as well as a great
Dinner Series. We are also offering two days of previews instead of just one.
As a subscriber, you'll be part of something that is going to be great. This is
going to become the hottest ticket in town! The oldest theater in the county is
on its way to becoming the best. See you there!
