Session 1: The Emperor's New Clothes
Bravo™ (for ages 7 to 11) Experience this
humorous setting of the famous Hans Christian Andersen fairy
tale "The Emperor's New Clothes," adapted by
the popular writing team of Dave and Jean Perry, and directed
by Jessica Magers-Rankin.
Learn about the good-hearted but gullible king who is duped
by two cunning scoundrels who weave an invisible suit of clothes
which "only the wise can see." The dialog is witty, the songs
are clever and fun to sing.
Class tuition is $425. The Town Hall Kids Student
Information Form must be completed for each student and
brought to the first day of class.
Summer Sessions are each three weeks long and run Monday
through Friday. Choose from either a morning (9AM to Noon)
or afternoon (1PM to 4PM) class time.
Each session ends with two performances: Saturday after the
last day of class at 2PM and 4PM for the morning class, and
Sunday after the last day of class at 2PM and 4PM for the
afternoon class.
Choose from morning or afternoon classes:
Bravo! Session 1 Mornings (9AM to Noon, Monday through
Friday)
Class runs the weeks of June 23, June 30, July 7(no class
July 4)
Dress Rehearsal: Friday, July 11 (last day of class)
Performances: Saturday, July 12 at 2PM and 4PM
Bravo! Session 1 Afternoons (1PM to 4PM, Monday through
Friday)
Class runs the weeks of June 23, June 30, July 7(no class
July 4)
Dress Rehearsal: Friday, July 11 (last day of class)
Performances: Sunday, July 13 at 2PM and 4PM
Town Hall Kids Bravo™ program offers presentation-style
musical theatre training to young actors ages 7-11 years old.
The final performance has sets, lights, costumes, choreography,
and music. The workshop teaches fundamentals of acting and
singing, while providing young actors opportunities for growth,
team-building...and lots of fun!
Included in your tuition is a show t-shirt. Tickets to the
show and a DVD of the performance may be purchased separately.
