Scene Study Workshop
 Ovation™
(for students age 14 and up) is excited to announce
a scene study program for our Summer 2008 program.
 Learn
basic acting methods and performance technique through scene
study.
Keep journal through process to turn in every two weeks for
evaluation and comments.
Prepare audition material (monologues) and practice cold reads.
Learn voice production & speech basics necessary for healthy
vocal work.
Learn fundamentals of stage makeup (basic, old age, scars
& bruising, other special effects).
Prepare resumes & headshots.
Attend master classes with area professionals.
Program culminates in final showcase performance featuring
each student performing a monologue.
Additional Information: Class meets 2 times a week
for 5 weeks. Students are expected to do required prep-work
outside of class time. High level of personal responsibility
and preparedness is required.

Class tuition is $375. The Town Hall Kids Student
Information Form must be completed for each student and
brought to the first day of class.
Ovation™ Scene Study Workshop meets 7/22, 7/24,
7/29, 7/31, 8/5, 8/7, 8/12, 8/14(offsite), 8/19 and 8/21 (Tuesday
and Thursday evenings) from 7PM to 10PM.
Performances: Showcase at 8PM on last day of class
(free admission)
Town Hall Kids Ovation™ program offers presentation-style
musical theatre training to young actors age 14 and up. The
final performance has sets, lights, costumes, choreography,
and music. The workshop teaches fundamentals of acting, singing
and dancing, while providing young actors opportunities for
growth, team-building...and lots of fun!
Included in your tuition is a show t-shirt. Tickets to the
show and a DVD of the performance may be purchased separately.
