 Encore™
(for students entering 6th grade through 8th grade)
is excited to announce that the Summer show for our middle
school aged actors will be Once On This Island.
On one stormy night, thunder booms, making a small girl cry.
As she sobs, four storytellers decide to comfort her by telling
her a story, the story of Ti Moune. This musical is a retelling
of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid set
in the French Antilles in the Caribbean Sea.
Director: Jessica Magers-Rankin
Class tuition is $425. The Town Hall Kids Student
Information Form must be completed for each student and
brought to the first day of class.
Encore™ runs the weeks of 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4,
8/11 from 4:15PM to 6:45PM on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday.
Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, 8/14 from 4:15 to 9:15PM
Performances: Saturday, Aug 16 at 7PM and Sunday,
Aug 17 at 2PM
Town Hall Kids Encore™ program offers presentation-style
musical theatre training to young actors ages 11-14 years
old. The final performance has sets, lights, costumes, choreography,
and music. The workshop teaches fundamentals of acting, singing
and dancing, while providing young actors opportunities for
growth, team-building...and lots of fun!
Included in your tuition is a show t-shirt. Tickets to the
show and a DVD of the performance may be purchased separately.
DVD order forms will be available at the performance.
